As all knows that writing is ninety-nine percent perspiration and one percent inspiration, still many are passionate about expressing their ideas and thoughts, beliefs and disbeliefs etc. through writing. It is a passion, a motivational inspiration that brings out the best from a person, on a given subject. Whatever subject or topic you have under your mastery, it can take a new dimension when you take up the pen to manifest your concept.
Topics and subjects are numerous and the volume of books written on each given subject has been multiplied by infinity. Ever since humans learnt the art of expressing through words, and grammar, and sentences, they have been writing. And though we have come off the days from the papyrus parchments to ebooks today, books are books, and they are still being written.
And so it will go. Language will go through more evolution, human knowledge will stretch far beyond our present conception, and books will be written on more and more topics with more and more synthesis, and analysis and so on. More classification of topics will come in and more expertise will be poured in. But the medium would remain as books. Be it in printed form or electronic form or whatever evolution it may go through in future.

What I consider as the biggest benefit of writing is the "Self-Satisfaction" that we can get by manifesting our thoughts, beliefs and ideas. Everyday we look for scopes and opportunities to express our ideas and mottos on different given topics and almost every time we are turned down or denied such a chance. We get frustrated, we grudge and fill our heart and mind with anger, resentment and other negative emotions resulting in ending up as a failure in life.
So write. Only two things you'll need to start your cause of writing. An updated information about your topic, for even if you write a non-fiction, you'll still need some information which must be updated. And secondly, you need to take the help of present technology available to you and go with time. And if you can combine these two with your own idea and your command over your language, then you are surely done for. So actually, there are two aspects to become a writer. The idea, which comes out from the inside of you, is always original and unique. The information and the technological help can be acquired from outside.
